This week we’re going back and revisiting the Gay Witch Hunt through the A Beninhana Christmas episodes of Office Ladies podcast. We go over things we may have missed the first time around and answer more of your questions. We start with a big boat correction, and we get a wonderful rendition of Heartbreak In The Breakroom by the amazing singer-songwriter Rhett Miller. Then, we’re joined by long time The Office editor, Dave Rogers. Dave gives us his The Office origin story, and gives us some deep dives on what went into editing The Office for the full nine seasons of the show. Finally, we continue on with some good Creed and Michael corrections and chat about maybe being a little hard on Jim. We hope you enjoyed your second drink of these episodes!

And we aren’t stopping there, the shimmy queen herself, Phyllis Smith, sends in audio memories for this episode as well. We jump in by discussing Pam clocking Phyllis using all of her wedding ideas, we get a ‘shallow dive’ on Ivan Pavlov, and we get a Dwight talking head that will be important later in the show series. Then, we go to the room where the fart happened and Phyllis Smith answers all your questions about that scene. Finally, ladies share some funny wedding memories, chat about that hilarious bouquet swat, and we end with a deleted scene that proves Phyllis didn’t steal every wedding idea from Pam.
This week we’re breaking down Ben Franklin. We start things off with some facts about the real Benjamin Franklin, and we get some audio memories from the incredible Andy Daly (Review, VEEP) who played the Ben Franklin impersonator in this episode. Then, Angela debunks Prima Nocta, Jenna answers everyones burning questions about Pam’s hair color, and we chat about the ‘guy shower’ down in the warehouse. Finally, we get a ‘proof of cold’ fan catch, Jenna does a deep dive on Elizabeth’s no secrets quote to Michael, and we end with some more memories from Andy Daly.

Then, we talk about Oscar’s return to Dunder Mifflin, Dwight working at Staples, and we get another fan rendition of Heartbreak In The Breakroom by Carmen and Camille. Finally, we get a good Homer Simpson background catch, chat about Jim and Pam’s prank on Andy, and dig into the Micheal-Dwight bromance moment of this episode. Rit dit dit dit doo!

Then Angela does some amazing detective work to discover just what was written on that Post-it note on Angela Martin’s partition, and we head to the warehouse inventory-luau and discuss what Spam is made of. Finally, we get an audio clip from the hilarious Kate Flannery about doing her own stunt work, and Jenna shares her memories of that really sweet scene between Pam and Dwight. We hope this episode has left you feeling hot-hot-hot!
Break out the nutcrackers and fire up the karaoke because we’re breaking down A Benihana Christmas. This is a supersize episode and we’re bringing on not one but TWO amazing guests!
